tango and foxtrot and quickstep, oh my!

I'll be competing -- for the first time in six months -- at Stanford's Cardinal Classic ballroom dance competition this Saturday evening, sometime between 8pm and 10:30pm. Also, the EPACS kids who are part of the Mad Hot Dancesport program will be doing a mini-competition there at 12:30. So if you're free, consider coming by!

At 10:30, right after my event, there will be a five-dance showcase by a professional Latin couple who was on "So You Think You Can Dance" (which doesn't mean much for me since I don't have a TV and haven't kept up with the show on Youtube, but is definitely exciting for others -- but great dancing does mean something to me, and it will be that!).

The daytime session is free for spectators, and the evening session is $10 (free for Stanford students, more for the best seats). The competition is in the Arrillaga Recreation Center at the corner of Galvez and Campus Drive on the Stanford campus.
